Our Human Resources System is designed specifically for the cruise ship and hospitality industry.
It is composed of two modules:
HUMAN RESOURCES - This module is used for:
- Recruiting
- Allows you to select candidates from a pool list
- Issues Letters of Employment.
- Produces Employee turn-over statistics by recruiting partners and other related reports
- Scheduling
- Management Rotation Reports enable the Scheduling Department to easily view the needs by position or by ship.
- Automatically schedules Employees for vacation at the nearest port according to contract lengths.
- Personal Data - Keeps all crew information including passport numbers, visa types and expiration dates
- Payroll Administration - Processes shipboard payrolls and transmits via email to the vessels. Maintains a payroll history for each employee.
- Training & Development - Monitors certification and training courses attendance
- Vessel Itineraries - Uses the itineraries to schedule employees sign-offs to the nearest designated turn-around port.
- Budgets - Pinpoints discrepancies in the manning budget by position through various reports.
- Crew Accounts - Tracks and stores crew payments and deposits.
- New vessel start up - Builds a crew list without affecting regular scheduling.
- Airline records - Airline records are downloaded from Global Distribution Systems (Sabre, Amadeus etc) to provide daily crew travel information
- Exception reports of unused airline tickets, due to crewmembers not signing off or on are automatically generated. The report also identifies where the ticket needs to be retrieved from: vessel, recruiting partner or crewmember
We have recently added the ability to remotely issue letters of employment to our Human Resources system, which gives our world wide network of recruiting partners the ability to log in to our system from their offices and print letters of employment for the crew members for whom they are responsible.
A further exciting new feature is the ability of US Embassy personnel to log in to our system to verify the authenticity of a letter prior to issuing the visa, and of Immigration officers at the port of entry to log in to the system and verify the validity of the letter for arrival in the USA.
These state of the art, industry leading features are currently being evaluated and put into use throughout our organization.
ON BOARD HUMAN RESOURCES SYSTEM - This module is currently in the design stage. Our goal is to develop a system that will interface with the HR system. The ship management will have access to the crewmembers files as well as reports and scheduling information.
