ACAPULCO, Mexico  – May 6, 2003 – Seatrade Mexico drew to a close in Acapulco last Wednesday, ending the Inaugural show held in Mexico by the company. Apollo Ship Chandlers, Inc., was honored to have been asked to send a speaker to the event, and was represented by Stewart Mandy, Manager – Corporate Communications, who gave an opening statement for the Tuesday afternoon session on Procurement in Mexico, and participated in the lively panel discussion that followed.

The show involved sessions on various aspects of the cruise industry, specifically the opportunities for Mexican companies to participate, as well as a trade show in which Mexican suppliers had the chance to market their products to the cruise lines represented at the event.

Commenting on the event, Stewart Mandy stated "It was a very interesting experience to be involved in the premier of such an event, and to see the enthusiasm on the part of the Mexican companies for being more deeply involved in the industry."
