MIAMI – May 6, 2003 – Europe USA Travel, Inc., an affiliate of Apollo Ship Chandlers, Inc., has announced its selection by Silversea Cruises as the agency of choice for marine travel. Silversea previously handled this function internally, through that company’s existing agency, which continues to manage all travel for cruise passengers. Europe USA’s selection over several other South Florida agencies follows an extensive bid process. Europe USA assumed responsibility for all crew and entertainment travel on April 1.

Originally the travel service department of parent company Apollo Ship Chandlers, Inc., Europe USA was established in 1986, charged with the critical task of providing cost effective air transportation for the thousands of crewmembers who travel each year to and from the vessels serviced by the Apollo group. In recent years, Europe USA has expanded its operation to service other corporate marine travel accounts.
