MIAMI BEACH, FL – March 10, 2003 – Last Thursday, on the final day of a triumphant appearance at Seatrade Miami, Apollo and affiliate Europe USA Travel announced Efrain Reyes, of Unitor Cruise Services in Catano, Puerto Rico as the lucky winner of two round trip tickets to Europe courtesy of Lufthansa German Airlines. During the three days of the show, a business card drop was located at the Apollo booth, and numerous entries in the draw were received.

2003 marked Apollo’s second appearance at Seatrade Miami, and the inaugural appearance of Europe USA Travel. This year, in addition to an expanded booth for showcasing Apollo’s services, an added attraction was daily canapé service, featuring tempting snacks from the company’s talented culinary team. Approximately 4000 canapés were served along with wine selections from Apollo’s cellars. Representing the company at the show were industry veterans Steve Furness, Apollo’s Director of Strategic Planning, Gisele St. Onge, Business Development Manager, and Stewart Mandy, Corporate Communications Manager. During the three day event, executives from most major cruise lines were to be seen visiting with Apollo’s team, as well as countless other visitors and customers past, present, and future.

Representing Europe USA Travel was Chris Podolsky, Director, who introduced the company’s extensive range of maritime travel services. Commenting on the first appearance of Europe USA at Seatrade Miami, Podolsky said “I was surprised at how many potentially lucrative deals were closed during the week. Seatrade stands apart from the average industry trade show in that business actually gets done!”
