| Philippe Faucher joins Apollo as Assistant Culinary Director
MIAMI – January 31, 2003 – Apollo has named Philippe Faucher as Assistant Culinary Director, further strengthening the industry-leading team at its world headquarters in Miami. Most recently, Faucher was culinary director at Renaissance Cruises, and prior to that he held the position of VP Culinary Operations at the CTI Group in Fort Lauderdale. Previously he held key positions onboard many upscale cruise vessels, including 3 years as Executive Chef with Princess Cruises. He also worked for over two years at the Michelin starred Grosvenor House in London, and with world famous master chef Michel Roux at the renowned Waterside Inn, as well as previously working with the Apollo group onboard vessels serviced by the company.
As Assistant Culinary Director at Apollo, Faucher’s responsibilities will include maintaining the company’s high standards of culinary operation aboard all vessels serviced by the company, and the development and implementation of new menus and dining trends. Faucher’s extensive culinary background and experience are expected to further enhance Apollo’s reputation as the world’s foremost cruise line food and beverage provider.
