Sumary
|
Providing wine service to Guests in the A la Carte Restaurant and Buffet Restaurants.
1. Will work in a station assigned by the Head Sommelier and follow the daily schedule. Must be familiar with Company’s Service Standards.
2. Use salesmanship techniques in order to achieve maximum sales.
3. Accomplish tasks related to inventory, equipment control and maintenance, must have comprehensive knowledge of United States Public Health Rules and regulations, and participate in training and re-enforcement.

General Requirements

|
Minimum 2 years of wine service experience in a 5 stars restaurant or hotel.

Oceania division requirements
|
Oceania Cruises ships are 684 passenger vessels, sailing in the Caribbean, South America and European itineraries.
1.Minimum 3 years wine service experience in a 5-star Restaurant or Hotel.
2.Must be knowledgeable of the wine list and able to discuss wines to guests who ask for advice. Knowledge how to pair wine with food is imperative.
Language requirements:
Must be able to read and speak clearly in English. Other languages a plus.
