Welcome Aboard, Orientation, Training and Awareness Program

In order to offer trained crew in the basics of cruise ship Food and Bar Service we operate this program in facilities in Europe, South Africa and Asia. All candidates who qualify for these training initiatives will first have to pass a formal interview with one of our Recruiting Specialists, to establish that they meet the required standards for shipboard employment with us. The general curriculum covers the following topics:

  • Life on Board
  • Cultural Awareness
  • USPH and Personal Hygiene
  • Sexual Harassment

The technical part of the training covers both theory and practical sessions which include the following topics:

  • Table Cleaning, Bridge Method

  • Menu Explanations

The Ship Training Program for Middle Management

For Middle Management qualified candidates with no previous ship experience, we offer a two-week training module that includes the following:

  • Train the Trainer
  • USPH Training
  • Leadership Assessment

Professionals in Pastry

A progressive idea to solve the industry wide shortage of qualified pastry makers, this four week entry level program, which is facilitated in Bandung, Indonesia, is accessible to qualified candidates with a background in food preparation. The hands-on curriculum covers:
