PEMEP (Pre-Employment Medical Examination Program)

We set up PEMEP because of the lack of accountability of clinics in general for failing to discover pre-existing medical conditions. This program is designed to protect ship owners/employers from claims arising from medical conditions existing before employment, and to make an effort to reduce the potential exposure that would otherwise be inherited under normal contractual obligation.

Our complete PEME package , designed by a Medical Professional, helps greatly reduce the oversight of medical conditions that can become a potential liability .

We negotiate advantageous rates for examinations and tests in all major countries of origin and ports with vetted doctors and clinics

We implement strict PEME guidelines with the doctors / clinics used by the Cruise line / Ship Owner.

We visit / audit clinics on a regular basis to ensure compliance to strict standards of operations.

Each PEME is reviewed by a Medical Professional, on call, 7 days a week.

A recommendation is issued within 12 to 24 hours:

• Green light to proceed with employment
• Further information / testing required
• Medical is rejected
